“Ramai la masa?”, premiat la Frankfurt / “Will You Stay For Dinner?” awarded in Frankfurt (En)

Asa cum ti-am povestit, sunt la Frankfurt si aseara, dupa ce am terminat demonstratia de cooking pentru editorii si autorii prezenti din intreaga lume (urmeaza sa-ti detaliez), am participat la marea Gala Gourmand Awards, intr-o sala splendida de 2000 de locuri.
Gourmand Awards implinesc anul acesta 20 de ani de existenta si presendintele Edouard Cointreau a organizat acest eveniment, aceasta festivitate de premiere, pentru a le oferi cate un premiu celor mai buni dintre cei mai buni pe tot parcursul celor 20 de ani. Best of the Best! Ei bine, aici apare si vestea buna, care nu m-a lasat sa dorm! Ardeam de nerabdare sa-ti povestesc!

La categoria Television Europe, dintre toate cartile inscrise in cei 20 de ani, volumul “Ramai la Masa?” (aparut la “Curtea Veche”) a ocupat in preferintele juriului locul 2!!!!! Pe locul 1 se afla unul dintre cei mai tari bucatari si autori de carti de bucate din lume, Chakal, care a urcat la bancul de gatit imediat dupa mine!
Sunt extraordinar de fericita, mandra, increzatoare si ma bucur enorm ca pot sa vin acasa cu un premiu atat de neasteptat, dar foarte important!
“Ramai la masa?” a obtinut locul al doilea la festivitatea “Best of The Best 20 Gourmand Anniversary”, dupa ce in Yantai a castigat marele premiu al categoriei Best TV Chef Book – Europe si pentru aceasta as vrea sa le multumesc inca o data celor care au crezut in acest proiect!
Revin cu povesti de la demonstratia de cooking, care s-a lasat cu emotii maaari, dar care, daca ne luam dupa numarul participantilor, a fost un adevarat succes!
Am venit la Frankfurt cu gandul ca am sa gatesc pentru editori si ca, daca jurnalul meu culinar le va atrage atentia, va fi tradus in diferite tari. Iar acum ma intorc acasa cu o multime de amintiri placute, contacte noi, speranta si un mare premiu! Pur si simplu simt ca zbor!

As I have already told you, I am in Frankfurt and last night, after I finished the live cooking demonstration in front of authors and editors present here from all over the world (I will be back with further details), I took part in the big Gourmand Awards Gala, in a stunning 2,000-seat auditorium. Gourmand Awards celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and the president, Edouard Cointreau, organized this event, this awards ceremony, to award the best of the best from the last 20 years of the Awards. Best of the Best! And this is where I have some good news for you, news that did not let me close an eye for I was dying to share it with you!
From all the participating books from the last 20 years, my book “Will You Stay For Dinner?” (published by Curtea Veche) ranked 2nd!!! The big award went to one of the best chefs and cookbook authors in the world, Chakal, who took to the cooking stage right after me!
I am extremely happy, proud of myself, confident and extremely delighted that I can bring home such an unexpected, but important award! “Will You Stay For Dinner?” ranked 2nd at the “Best of The Best 20 Gourmand Anniversary” ceremony, having previously won the big award in the category “Best TV Chef Book – Europe” in Yantai and for that I would like to thank one more time those who believed in this project!
I shall be back with more stories from the live cooking demonstration, one that was full of excitement, but a true success nonetheless if we are to take into consideration the number of participants!
I came to Frankfurt to cook for the editors and, just in case my culinary diary drew their attention, to have it translated in other languages. And now I am going back home with a bunch of bright memories, new contacts, hope and a brand new award! I feel like I’m flying!
